TY•COTE™ Clear is a water-based 100% acrylic, penetrating sealer designed to produce a clear surface film. It is manufactured from non-yellowing, advanced acrylic resins to form a durable finish that provides long-term water-repellency, increased dirt pick-up resistance, and weather protection.
Available in Satin Finish only.
TY•COTE Clear's low viscosity allows it to penetrate and lock into the substance. The thin film allows moisture vapor to escape from the building interior, yet provides excellent damp-proofing characteristics on the exterior. The appearance will remain uniform, eliminating any blotchiness from water staining, even after years of service.
TY•COTE™ Clear acts as a "Fill Coat" for the substrate and maintains the clarity of the substrate. A continuous, pinhole-free film must be created before application of the GRAFFITI GARD® IV or Sacrificial GRAFFITI GARD® Systems.
