TCA CONCRETE FLOOR STAIN

TCA Concrete Floor Stain is an oil base, penetrating stain which is resistant to peeling, flaking and chipping (it is not a paint). TCA Concrete Floor Stain is resistant to salts and most detergents. It is highly alkali resistant and can be applied over dry, cured concrete floors only.

COLORS/CURING, DRYING TIMES

  1. Colors available upon request.
  2. Concrete shall have cured a minimum of 28 days prior to application of stain.
  3. If two coats are used, an 8 hour dry between coats, under ideal weather is recommended, (minimum time)

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT/APPLICATION

  1. Brush, roller or conventional airless spray equipment.
  2. Coverage rate is approximately 250-300 square feet per gallon, depending on the porosity of the surface.

CAUTION: Do not thin. Use as is. 1 coat system.

SURFACE PREPARATION

New Concrete:
Shall have cured a minimum of 28 days prior to application. Form oil or release agent shall be removed prior to application. Contact TCA regarding compatibility of agent before applying.

Surface shall be clean and dry. All surface contaminants such as dust, dirt, oil, loose substrate shall be removed. Old Concrete: The surface shall be free of oil, grease, dirt and other foreign matter. On non-porous concrete it is recommended that the surface be sandblasted, shotblasted or high pressure waterblasted (up to 6000 psi). Surface shall be clean and sound.
