3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TEX•COTE® STRETCH is a high performance terpolymer elastomeric coating with a 100% acrylic latex base elastomeric resin providing up to 400% elongation.

This coating has inherent elastomeric properties which exhibit low temperature flexibility below freezing, resist hairline cracking, and have excellent adhesion characteristics.

TEX•COTE® STRETCH offers greater film thickness in a one coat application.

TEX•COTE® STRETCH is recommended for use over concrete, cement plaster, block systems, brick systems, galvanized metal, cement fibre board, wood siding, and other manufacturer's approved surfaces. Masonry, including, mortar, concrete, and cement plaster must cure a minimum of 28 days prior to coating.

Limitations:
Application of the coating must be under the following ideal weather conditions:

Quantity and Colors:
Container size-Five (5) gallon (19 litre) pails-, thirty (30) gallon (113 litre) and fifty-five (55) gallon (209 litre) drums.
Colors-TEX•COTE® standard colors with special colors upon request.

5. INSTALLATION

Applications/Equipment:
TEX•COTE® STRETCH, Roll or Spray- Provide spray equipment, commercial grade similar to Graco EH-333 with minimum tip size (.019) or medium nap roller. Consult manufacturer's representative for specific material applications.
Surface Preparation:
All surfaces must be sound, cleaned with a manufacturer's approved detergent and dried prior to the application of a primer and coating. Such surface contaminants as dust, dirt, mildew, form oils and loose substrates should be thoroughly removed. Painted surfaces exhibiting loose, flaking, or oxidized paint surfaces must be thoroughly removed by sand blasting, water blasting, electric sanding, or wire brushing as required by the manufacturer. Large cracks, holes, or voids must be filled with cement patching compound with Tex-Bond Cement Adhesive. Patching compound finish texture to match existing adjacent finish surfaces. Cracks over one-thirty-second (1/32") and up to one-eighth (1/8") should be cut out and filled with FlexPatch Patching Compound. Interfacing of wall joints should be sealed with an acrylic or urethane type sealant.
Application of Coating:
A sample wall is recommended for field approval by the architect, manufacturer's representative, and contractor.
Provide a properly prepared, primed, dry surface for all coating systems.

6. AVAILABILITY AND COST

TEX•COTE® textured coatings, primers and other products are available from representatives in most cities throughout the United States, by calling "Sweets Buy Line" or by contacting the manufacturer. 7. WARRANTY

Upon completion of application of coating in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations Textured Coatings of America, Inc. will extend its limited commercial warranty for product replacement as a result of defect in the material. The manufacturer must be notified prior to the application of the coating and the application must be in compliance with the manufacturer's recommendations for installation. Textured Coatings of America, Inc. shall have no obligation to or otherwise participate in labor or cost associated with effecting repairs. Specimen copy of material warranty available upon request.

8. MAINTENANCE

No particular maintenance is required. However should any of the product become soiled, simply clean with light water pressure and mild detergent.

9. TECHNICAL SERVICES

Technical services are available from the manufacturer's facilities or sales representatives throughout the United States. Textured Coatings of America Research and Development Department will provide specifications upon request.

NOTE: All primers must cure 24 hours under ideal weather conditions prior to finish coating application. Coverage rates over surfaces primed with Primer 62 in which STRETCH is rolled may require two coats to achieve 10 dry mil thickness.
