The picture below shows the dramatic effect that the sun’s rays have had on the conventional paint after only 4 years of exposure. At the time of application, both colors matched identically. Now, the conventional paint has changed by ΔE = 6.31 as compared to a change in COOLWALL® of only ΔE = 1.14. “Delta E (ΔE)” is a unit of measure that calculates and quantifies the difference between two colors – a test sample and a standard.  A Delta E of less than 1.0 is considered as undetectable by the average human eye.
